Ivalene “Ivy” Jayne (Porter) Packwood (May 11, 1935 – October 14, 2016)   Packwood, Ivalene Jayne “Ivy” (Porter) passed away October 14, 2016 at her home.  Ivy was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on May 11, 1935 to Martha Bush and Kenneth Porter.  She was a graduate of Western High School and worked as a secretary until her retirement in 1997.  Upon retiring, Ivy became a volunteer in the gift shop at Orange Park Medical Center for 13 years.  She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Robert L. “Bob” Packwood; her parents and brothers, Donald Porter and Steven (Kathy) Porter.  She will be dearly missed by her sister, Dolly (Mike) Lowe; two daughters, Lori Hartmann and Lynn (Chris) Green and four grandchildren, Jeff Hartmann, Drew Hartmann, Travis Green and Megan Green. The family invites friends to attend Sunday services at the Lake Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 11:00am to 12:30pm.  Following Sunday services, the family will receive friends starting at 1:00pm and a memorial service will begin at 2:00pm.  All services will be in the Sanctuary at Lake Hill Baptist Church, 5165 County Road 214, Keystone Heights, FL, under the direction of Pastor Bruce Lee.  A private interment at the Jacksonville National Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in her memory be made to the Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, 6400 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, FL 32177.
