John Curtis "JC" Gill

John Curtis Gill "J.C", 36, went home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2016. J.C was born in Jacksonville on March 27, 1980. He was a life long Florida resident who enjoyed the beach, surfing, playing volleyball, basketball and baseball. He had a smile that would light up a room and loved to make people laugh. He was a smart, charming, witty young man who loved his family. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. J.C is predeceased by his grandfather Curtis Gill; aunts, Marie and Sheila and uncle Lloyd. He is survived by his son Ethan; daughters, Bella & Bailey; stepson, Chase; mother and step-father, Ginny and Edward Young; grandmother, Rose Gill; father, Thomas Broadwater; brother, Thomas Hampton (Amy); sister, Mandy McNeil (Jason); nephews, Kaleb & Kamden McNeil, Austin, Alex, Aidan and Ashton Hampton; stepsister, Tracy McVey (Kelly); stepbrothers, Buddy Young (Colleen) and Brandon Young (Christine); aunt, Carolyn Gill; uncle, John Gill; cousins Curt, Corey, Carrie, Craig, Joe, Travis, Alexis, David and Daniel. Visitation will be held Friday November 4, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday November 5, 2016 at Black Pond Baptist Church 3644 Old Jennings Rd Middleburg, FL 32068 with Pastor Jason Brown officiating.
