Francis S. Rabideau

Francis S. Rabideau, 79, of Orange Park, Florida went peacefully into the arms of his Lord with his wife by his side on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.  Mr. Rabideau was born on September 28, 1937 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Archie F. and Elizabeth A. (Strickland) Rabideau. He was a lifelong resident of Northeast Florida and a member of Orange Park Church of the Nazarene.  Mr. Rabideau proudly served his country for 22 years before retiring from the United States Army.  He went on to work for 14 years and retire from the United States Postal Service and was an avid golfer.  He is preceded in death by his son, Terry Rabideau. Mr. Rabideau is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Delaney Rabideau; granddaughter, Elizabeth Fortune (Colton); great-grandson, Wyatt Fortune; niece, Rebecca Mason (Dez) and nephews, James Dulaney, Bruce Pat and Barry Douglas. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Orange Park Church of the Nazarene 3212 Moody Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32065, with Reverend Crystal H. Riner officiating.
