Julia Ann Race

Julia Ann Race, 66, of Orange Park, Florida, formerly of Woodstock, Georgia and Colonie, New York passed from this life on September 12, 2016.   Julia was born May 2, 1950, in Albany, New York. She married the love of her life, Douglas Vaughan Race and had three children - sons Mason and Eric, and daughter Jessica.   Julia dedicated her life to raising her children, and later worked in veterinary services.   Julia was preceded in death by her father, Philip Ryan, Sr., her brother, John Ryan, and her husband, Douglas.   She is survived by her mother, Anna Ryan of Orange Park, Florida, her sons and their wives - Mason (Marie) of Canton, Georgia and Eric (Lauren) of Smyrna, Georgia and her daughter, Jessica of Orange Park, Florida, as well as granddaughter Ava, and grandsons Mason, Liam, and Vaughan.   Many loving and faithful friends will miss Julia’s selfless nature, outgoing disposition and loving care.   The family will hold a private service at a later date.   Please sign the guest book with loving kindness and remembrance to Julia and her family and friends at www.broadusraines.com.
