Dwight Ike Mullins (Cheyenne), 70, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away November 19, 2016. He was born in Haysi, Virginia on October 29, 1946 to the late Clifford and Mandy (Hall) Mullins. Mr. Mullins proudly served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He retired after almost 40 years as a crane mechanic for Mobro Marine, where he was a beloved employee. All who knew Cheyenne said he was always cheerful with a smile on his face. He was an avid reader and loved road trips on his motorcycle. Since he was a young man he had a love of classic cars and enjoyed rebuilding bicycles and lawn mowers in his free time. He was passionate about his pets and rescued many in his lifetime. Mr. Mullins was a beloved family man and friend. He was predeceased by his unborn angel, baby Mullins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Lee Ann McKnight Mullins; son, James “Russell” Johnson (Leanne); daughters, Renée Johnson Darnell (Montie) and Laura Gaynelle Clark; brothers, James Mullins, Okey “Bo” Mullins (Janice) and Rocky Lane Mullins (Dorothy); 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends in the Broadus-Raines Chapel from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, November 21, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Marc Swarthout officiating. Interment, with military honors, in Penney Farms Cemetery, following the service.
