Maggie Kathleen Butcher

Maggie Kathleen Butcher, 85, of Fleming Island, FL passed away December 12, 2016. She was born on March 30, 1931 in Harriman, TN to the late James and Argust (True) Cox. Mrs. Butcher was a lifelong resident of Northeast Florida and a member of Congregational Holiness Church in Green Cove Springs, FL.  She enjoyed watching her soap operas and would do anything in the world for you.  Mrs. Butcher was a wonderful and beloved mother, grandmother and friend.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Butcher; daughter, Leuna Newman and her four siblings.   Mrs. Butcher is survived by her son, Roger Dean Turner; daughters, Patsy Famiglietti (Jerry) and Rena Larson; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.   The family will receive friends at 10am on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Congregational Holiness Church, 2079 Hwy 16 West, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.  Funeral services will begin at 11am with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating.  Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
