Larry Lunsford Galbreath, 75, of Jacksonville, FL passed away December 27, 2016. He was born in Madison, TN on May 1, 1941 to the late James Ernest Galbreath (Lillian Malin Galbreath) and Leona Hitt Galbreath. Larry came to the area in 1981 from Goodlettsville, TN. He retired after 38 years of service to the railroad. Larry was a motorcycle enthusiast, master carpenter, loved camping and fishing. He was the originator of reduce, reuse, recycle and a diehard Vols fan. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Brickell Galbreath. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Aranda, Cathy Hughes (Rob), Amy Galbreath, Julie Galbreath Wolf and Melissa Jansen (Eric); brothers, Nathan Galbreath and twin brother, Jerry Galbreath (Brenda); sister, Doris Schonhoff (Clem); grandchildren, Stephen Deangelo, Ryan Kovacs, Camille Boyette, Nicholas Jansen, Clayton Aranda, Lauren Jansen and his former wife, Sara Lewis. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pamela Theresa officiating.
