Justin Ray Conn

 Justin Ray Conn, 28, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on December 31, 2016.  He was born on March 4, 1988 in Jacksonville, FL to Raymond Edward Conn and Valerie Rae (Ganthner) Conn. Justin was a lifelong resident of Florida and graduate of Clay High School in 2006. He worked for Bartram Trails Surveying for 10 years and was a nature lover.  He enjoyed sailing, playing pool and skate boarding.  Justin was a songwriter/guitarist for the band A Way Without.  He hiked the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Tennessee this past summer until the fires began.  Justin’s friends will finish the trail in his memory from Tennessee to Georgia, “Finishing the Trail for Troll”, this spring.  He was a dedicated and beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and nephew. Justin is survived by his parents; sister, Valaray Hansen; nephew, Harley Hansen; nieces, Harmony and Heavenly Hansen; grandmother, Charlotte Pippolo; brother-in-law, Ken Hansen and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at The Spring House 604 Walnut Street, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 with Pastor Allison Yeazitus officiating.
