Fred David Bridges

Fred David Bridges, 63, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009. He was born on April 23, 1946 in Tampa, FL to parents, Fred and Annie Bridges. Mr. Bridges was a retired Master Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was currently employed at NADEP in Jacksonville, FL and loved fishing. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Bridges and is survived by his mother, Annie Wilson of Melbourne, FL; wife, Deborah Moody-Bridges of Middleburg, FL; sons, David (Laura) Bridges, MD of Greenwood, SC, Troy (Lori) Bridges of Virginia Beach, VA, John Bridges of Kings Bay, GA and James Bridges of Jacksonville, FL; step-son, Warrant Officer Jonas (Victoria) Moody of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Pat (Jim) Snodgrass and 7 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, August 10, 2009 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Riverside Memorial Park (North Section) in Jacksonville, FL.
