Elaine Murphey

Elaine Murphey, 60, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009. She was born on April 1, 1949 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, William Roberts, Sr. and Mary Roberts. She owned and operated the Middleburg Bait & Tackle Shop and enjoyed fishing and cooking. Mrs. Murphey was a member of Congregational Holiness Church and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Buddy Roberts. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Frank E. Murphey; children, Lloyd Murphey and Angel Rock (Robert); sister, Ruby Grey and grandchildren, Kyle Murphey, Robert Rock III and Tanner Rock. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 14, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Surrency officiating.
