Joyce Watkins

Joyce Watkins, 66, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009. She was born on December 10, 1942 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, Thomas and Alene O’Steen. Mrs. Watkins was a homemaker and lived in Clay County her whole life. She enjoyed cooking and spent the last 14 years of her life battling breast cancer. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a daughter, Vicky Force. Survivors include her husband, Larry Watkins; children, Frank, James and Howard Ortiz and Latosha Tomlinson (Jerry) and grandchildren, Christopher and Austin Tomlinson and Crystiana Alonso. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Holly Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society benefiting the fight against Breast Cancer.
