Larry L. West

Larry L. West, 72, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009. Born on March 18, 1937 in Roscommon, MI he was a member of Hibernia Baptist Church and loved people as well as painting. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Mr. West was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Nettie. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Betty M. West; children, Larry West, Cathy Warren (Fane), Mark West (Lori), Steve Chairmont, Laurie West, Susan Scott, Candie West, Tim West (Tonya) and David West; brother, Bruce West (Hedy); grandchildren, Christy Hallicy, Tim, Melissa, Corey, Dustin, Lindsey, Hannah, Shelby, Destiny and Nikki West, Jimmy and Jessie Scott and great-grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Katlin, Sadie, Katley, Naomi and Matt. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Hibernia Baptist Church, 7100 Hwy. 17 South, Fleming Island with Pastor Scott Yirka officiating. The family will receive friends in the church on Sunday from 2:30 pm until service time. A private interment will be held at a later date.
