Regina M Hastings

Regina M. Hastings, 74, of Middleburg, FL passed away Monday, August 17, 2009. She was born to the late Walter and Mary Holmes on September 29, 1934 in Moro, Arkansas. Mrs. Hastings married her beloved husband, Norman B. Hastings, Jr. on August 17, 1962 and moved to Florida in 1989 and settled in Clay County nearly 10 years ago. She worked as Licensed Practical Nurse and enjoyed taking care of people. She was also an avid reader and loved to travel and enjoyed yard work and gardening. Mrs. Hastings was preceded in death by her parents; and by her son, Larry Busby; and sister, Mary Cunningham. She is survived by her husband, Norman B. Hastings, Jr.; children: Rick (Debbie) Busby, Norman “Butch” Hastings, III, Phyllis Hastings, and Patricia (Frank) Kenney; brother, Sonny (Murry) Holmes; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Pinewood Presbyterian Church officiated by Reverend Rod Whited.
