Margaret passed away gently into her eternal life on February 20, 2017 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 76. She was born on September 23, 1940 to parents Archie and Mary (La Victorie) Severn in Vienna Township, Michigan. Margaret married Mr. Gerald Cutcher on December 19, 1959. They had three children Brian, Jerry and Michelle. She was a loving mother and friend to all. She became a member of the Women of the Moose on July 8, 1993. Margaret joined our Moosehaven family on January 26, 2010 where she resided for six years. When Margaret came to Moosehaven she stated that she came here for companionship, little did she know that she would find a devoted companion, Mr. Ralph Page. Ralph and Margaret met at the Lodge and pretty soon became inseparable. Since Ralph is not a resident of Moosehaven, they were not legally married, but on January 10, 2016 they had a “Commitment Ceremony” in the Moosehaven Chapel with many friends and family in attendance. Margaret and Ralph completed one another. Margaret enjoyed her sunshine job driving the bus for her Moosehaven family taking them on trips and appointments and her job as Recorder of Opportunity Chapter. She received her Academy of Friendship on April 17, 2016. Margaret was a beautiful soul who touched many lives with her positive approach to life right up to the end. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by sons Brian Cutcher of St. Cloud, FL, Jerry Cutcher of Alexandria, VA and her daughter, Michelle Lowery of Kissimmee, FL and her devoted partner Ralph Page of Orange Park, FL. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Moosehaven Chapel in Orange Park, FL with Rev. Helen Taylor officiating and Officers of Opportunity Chapter. A reception will follow the service in the Michigan Building.
