Karen Sue Bowling Kinzig

Karen Sue Bowling Kinzig, 54, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away February 25, 2017. She was born in Brunswick, GA on December 8, 1962 to parents Charles Peyton and Frances “Arlene” (Dalton) Bowling.  Karen had been a resident of the area since 1996 coming from Virginia Beach, VA and was of the Christian faith.  She was extremely caring and giving to others and enjoyed the beach.  Karen was a loving and devoted mother who supported her children with all their activities, especially baseball and cheerleading. She was a beloved wife, mother and daughter.   Karen is survived by her husband of 9 years, Paul Kinzig; son, John Albert Sgromolo (Callie); daughter, Emily Frances Sgromolo; parents, Charles and Arlene Bowling; sister, Diana Lynne Capito (Dale) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  She is also survived by her dogs, Misty and Dylan; and grand-dogs, Hank and Dodger.   A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Jim Weldon officiating.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Faithful Fellowship Church, 5000 US Highway 17, Suite 18 #279, Fleming Island, FL 32003.
