John Albert Matiacio

John Albert Matiacio, 79, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009. He was born on May 2, 1930 in Buffalo, NY to parents, Pasquale and Rose Matiacio. He had worked as a remodeler and was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Matiacio enjoyed woodworking and home repair and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Matiacio; sons, Thomas A. (Elizabeth O.) Matiacio and James A. Matiacio; brother, George Matiacio; sister, Dolores Kim and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services and interment will take place in Tonawanda, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257.
