Elwood "J.R." Redman

Elwood “J.R.” Redman passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 91. He was born to Henry and Hazel Redman on June 1, 1918 in Fredericksburg, VA. He worked as a vendor at Flea Markets. He enjoyed meeting and talking to all the folks coming through the Flea Markets. J.R. became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in January 1, 1952 when he joined West Pasco, FL Lodge and later transferred to New Port Richey, FL Lodge #1747. He was a Moose member for over fifty-seven years. He was also a member of the 25 Club having sponsored a total of 26 members in his lifetime. He was also a member of Orange Blossom Moose Legion #125. He came to Moosehaven on June 7, 2006 where he resided for 3 years. He is survived by his children; Marjorie McCord of King George, VA, Patricia Redman of Cleveland,OH, Steven Redman of Annapolis, MD, Ronald Redman of Seaford, DE, Debra Redman and Edward Redman.
