Ernest Imme passed away September 9, 2009 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 95.
He was born to Ernest and Martha Imme on March 19, 1914 in Woldegk, Germany. He had two sisters and one brother.
While in Munich he was among many bombings. He suffered much persecution in his life as he was often falsely identified with German wartime beliefs.
Ernest being a Christian was often misunderstood for his convictions.
Ernie became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on February 24, 1976 when he joined the Inverness, FL Lodge #2112. He was a charter member of Inverness and also Life member.
He is survived by his niece, Elizabeth Worthington of Bryan, OH
Ernie will be laid to rest next to his wife, Marian, in Oak Ridge Cemetery, in Inverness, FL.
Funeral Services were held at Moosehaven Chapel on Thursday, September 10, 2009 and were conducted by Rev. Helen Taylor and officers of Opportunity Lodge.
