Katherine Doan

Katherine Doan, 86, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009. She was born on October 21, 1922 in Reno, IN to parents, James and Suzanne Green. Mrs. Doan was a homemaker and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Orange Park, FL. She as an avid Publishers Clearing House participant and enjoyed her plants and knick-knacks. Mrs. Doan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ansel Doan; sons, Frank and Lee Doan and daughter, Mary Elizabeth Doan. Survivors include her children, Alice Gilbert, Stan Williams, Tom Doan, Toodie Houldson, David, Louie, Kathy and Emma Doan and a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, September 18, 2009 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Penney Farms Cemetery with Reverend Louie Doan officiating.
