Sylvester Richard Zarnesky, 67, of Middleburg, Fl passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009. He was born March 14, 1942 to Bernard and Martha Zarnesky in Barnesboro, PA. He moved to Middleburg 8 years ago from LaGrange, OH. Mr. Zarnesky served in the United States Air Force during the 1960’s where he was a jet engine mechanic, traveling to places like the Middle East. After serving in the military, he was employed by Champion International for many years as a tool & dye maker. Sylvester enjoyed watching and going to drag racing events and had been know to be good at doing anything he put his mind too. He was of the Catholic faith. Sylvester was preceded in death by his father, Bernard, two sisters, Barbara and Martha, and a grandson, Bear. Survivors include his loving wife, Elizabeth; his mother, Martha Zarnesky of Johnstown, PA; son, Patrick of North Olmsted, OH; daughter, Michell of Berea, OH; step-son, Doc Longstreth of Middleburg, FL; three brothers, Blair of Ebensburg, PA, Martin of Alamogordo, NM, David of Johnstown, PA; sister, Bridgett of Johnstown, PA, and Five grandchildren.
