James F. Glackin

James F. Glackin, 76, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009. He was born on May 13, 1933 in Upper Darby, PA to parents, John and Mary Glackin. Mr. Glackin was a Korean War Veteran, serving his country in the United States Army. He worked as a program manager for ITT and had moved to the local area from North Carolina in 1999. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sons, James (Cindy) Glackin of Ithaca, NY and John Glackin of Gainesville, FL; brothers, Chuck and Mike Glackin; sisters, Roseanita Lynch and Sister St. Gervais and grandson, James Glackin. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island with Fr. Donal Sullivan as Celebrant.
