Donald "Pop" Taylor

Donald “Pop” Taylor passed away September 24, 2009 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 96. He was born to Charles and Coril Taylor on March 12, 1913 in Kankakee, IL. Don married Evelyn Dittus on October 15, 1941. They had two daughters, Donna Rae and Phyllis. Don became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on June 19, 1951 when he joined the Crystal River, FL Lodge #2013. He was a member of Moose Cypress Legion # 202. Don and Evelyn came to Moosehaven on April 9, 1992 where he resided for 17 years. Evelyn preceded him in death December 29, 2001. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Rae Geller; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. His daughter Phyllis also preceded him in death several years ago.
