Winifred Marcus Crosby

Winifred Marcus Crosby, 77, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009. She was born on January 19, 1932 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, Leonard and Lucy Inman, Sr. Mrs. Crosby was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be dearly missed by them as well as all of her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, James Edward Crosby. Survivors include her son, James R. Crosby; daughters, Peggy L. Crosby, Cathy S. Kight (Roy), Nancy Baker Looney (Herman) and Jill Crosby; brothers, Rudy and Calvin Inman; sisters, Sylvia Newton, Lolamae Jay and Barbara; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, October 23, 2009 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 24, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Interment will follow in Peoria Cemetery.
