Patricia "Patty" Salazar

Patricia “Patty” Salazar, 67, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. She was born on September 18, 1942 in Peoria, IL to Paul and Irma Pulliam. Mrs. Salazar moved to the local area in 1981 from San Diego, CA. She was employed by VyStar Credit Union for over 28 years and was a loyal member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Salazar may have had many titles in her life, but her favorite was mother and grandmother. Patty will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John Salazar; son, John P. Salazar (Diane) and their children, Tony and Jeremy; brothers, Mike Pulliam (Erna) and Randy Pulliam (Robin); sisters, Carmen Hamlin (Jimmy) and Pam Glisson (Jeff) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Vigil service will be held Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 6:00 pm followed by visitation until 8:00 pm in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 16, 2009 at 10:00 am in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
