William "Billy" Gerhardt, Jr.

Mr. William “Billy” C. Gerhardt Jr. of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at home. Mr. Gerhardt was born on January 30, 1936 in Green Cove Springs, FL to parents, William and Della Gerhardt. An engineer, Billy retired after 33 years with Gulf Life Insurance Company. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ruth; a daughter, Dayla; a brother, Joe; two sisters, Margaret and Dora and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 21, 2009 at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 20, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The family has requested casual attire for services.
