June H. Boyd

In Loving memory of June H. Boyd, 70, (1939 – 2010) from Green Cove Springs, FL (aka Mom/Granny to everyone that knew her) the most wonderful Wife, Mother and Friend departed from us on January 2, 2010. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth N. Boyd. She is survived by her Husband of 48 years, Columbus K. Boyd; 3 daughters, Karen Neisser (David), Sara Maddox (Dewey) and Alda Markowski (Lonnie); 2 sisters, Violet Miller, Aline Monaghan; a brother, Joseph Hardenbrook; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter and best friend Charlotte Ratliff. June loved to do for others, cook and go yard selling. She spent every day of her life helping people and never wanted anything in return, it was her nature to always give and never receive, that made her the happiest. Although she never wanted praise or recognition for what she did we (Family) do praise along with admire her courage and strength along with dedication to her family and friends we were so blessed to have her for the time that she was within our lives. She will be greatly missed by all. May God bless her and keep her. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8, 2010 at 12:00 Noon in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Minister Claude McEldowney officiating. Visitation in the chapel will begin Friday at 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park. Please sign the family’s online register book at www.broadusraines.com.
