David Theodore Apple

David Theodore Apple, 31, of Jacksonville, FL passed away January 9, 2010 in Chuluota, FL. David was born on August 31, 1978 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain, OH. He was baptized and attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He also attended Fairhome Elementary and Forest Lawn Elementary Schools in Lorain, OH. David moved with his family to Orange Park, FL in 1991 and attended Montclair Elementary, Ridgeview Jr. and Orange Park High School. He was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Middleburg, FL. David was a very giving and loving person. He was always willing to help anyone and never met a stranger. David was a cabinetmaker and a landscaper by trade and also enjoyed swimming and cooking especially on the grill. He also was an avid Cleveland Browns & Jaguar fan. David loved his family and brought much joy to their lives, he will be greatly missed by them. He is survived by the loves of his life his children, Aubrianna Kaylee and William Raleigh Apple; parents, Robert C. and Elizabeth A. Jarnagin-Apple; brothers, Robert “Robbie” Charles Apple II and Kevin Charles Apple; sister, Holly Jackson; nieces, Kaylee Elizabeth, Autumn Taylor and Jordan Nicole; adopted grandmother Ruth Sahlstrom; David leaves behind several aunts, uncles and love ones back in Ohio. He also leaves a very special person, his girlfriend Michelle Williams. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2010 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 2:00pm-3:00pm. Interment will be in the Penney Farms Cemetery, Penney Farms, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heritage Bank, 794 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL, where a Memorial Fund has been set up in his name.
