Horace Williams, 68, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010. He was born on March 24, 1941 to parents Horace and Mary Williams in Fort Valley, GA. Mr. Williams moved to the local area in 2006 from New York, New York. Horace learned at a young age how to make the best of every situation and prided himself as being street savvy. He worked as a professional chief for the Circle Line ferry out of New York City. Mr. Williams also owned his own restaurant in Harlem, NY and a candy shop in Elizabeth, NJ. Horace will always be remembered as a loving father, proud grandfather and caring uncle. He is survived by son, Terry Jones of Fort Valley, GA; daughter, Kaan Glover of Bronx, NY; brothers, Joe Williams (Marie), Curtis Williams (Gwendolyn), Benjamin and Roy Williams, Gary and Hanky Glover and Troy Wallace; sisters, Jackie, Patricia and Geraldine Williams and Gwen Hicks; grandson, Taliek Glover and great aunt Leonna Williams.
