Jerry Lee Lohr

Jerry Lee Lohr, 72, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 4, 2010. He was born on March 12, 1937 in Elmore, OH to parents, John and Erba Lohr. Mr. Lohr honorably served his country in the United States Navy for 8 years. Jerry only recently moved to the local area in 2001 from Navarre, OH. Since his move he has been very active in the local community. Mr. Lohr was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 2410 in Middleburg, FL, Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion in Middleburg, FL and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Orange Park, FL. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, gardening and tinkering in 1 of his 3 sheds. Jerry just loved being outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife, of 17 years, Phyllis Lohr; children, Jennifer Jones (Lawrence), Julie Brunelle (Tim), Kim Romine (Lee), Ken Fox (Renee) and Cindi Peterson (Tom); brother, Duane Lohr; sister, Joan Lenke; grandchildren, Ashley, Daren, Colton, Preston, Summer, Samantha, Britnai, Cassidy, Madelyn, Seth, Sage, Seena and Kenzie; great grandchild, Chloe.
