Malcolm Pringle, 71, of Keystone Heights, FL passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010. He was born on September 24, 1938 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Rudolph and Jennie Pringle, Sr. Malcolm was best known to his family as “Daddy” or “Papa”. He built every home that his family has ever lived in. He was always known to be outside with his children or grandchildren playing with the 4 wheelers, jet skies or the boat, he even adopted some of the neighborhood kids. Mr. Pringle also bought and raised many horses for his 4 daughters. He on the other hand loved his cows. Some days you could find him in his Big Red Tractor, which even came equipped with AC and AM/FM radio. During racing season you could always find him in front of the TV watching his favorite NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt. Malcolm had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. Malcolm will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will live on in the hearts of those who he helped and those who loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Marianne Pringle; daughters, Melissa Crews (Joseph), Melanie Williams (Timothy), Martha Langley (John) and Melinda Pringle; son, Donald Coleman; brothers Rudolph V. Pringle, Jr. and Marcus Pringle; grandchildren, Amanda, Holly, Christopher, Kyle, Justin, Kaitlyn, Malcolm, Monica, Marlena, Makayla and Morgan; great grandchildren, Bryce, Brylee and 1 on the way. A celebration of Malcolm’s life will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the family’s home, 5555 State Road 21, Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
