Patsy J. Crockett

Patsy J. Crockett, 75, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She was born on January 27, 1935 in Florahome, FL to parents, Otto and Allie Starling. Mrs. Crockett had been a CNA and loved attending church at Oak Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed gospel singing, fishing and shrimping. She dearly loved going to Animal Kingdom with her great-grandchildren and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Mrs. Crockett was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, R.D. Crockett and her grandson, Ronald David Cavin. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Crockett, Patricia Mosley and Linda Green (Russell); brother, Robert Cecil Starling; grandchildren, Melissa Jones (Darin), GySgt. Matt Mosley (Heather), Leann Cavin, Glenn Green, Kenneth Green and Rachel Cabrera (Vic);10 great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 1, 2010 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast FL, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257.
