Virginia "Ginny" Haws

Virginia “Ginny” Haws passed away February 25, 2010 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 91. She was born to Vinton and Anna Barrow on August 20, 1918 in Los Angeles, CA. Ginny married Chester Haws September 2, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA. They had one daughter, Joyce and one son, Gary, who preceded her in death in 1994. She worked at the Lockheed Corporation as a Secretary for a number of years before retiring in 1974. Ginny became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in October, 1979 when her husband, Chet joined Sonora, CA Lodge #2183. She became a member of Sonora Chapter #1728 just two months after Chet joined the Lodge. She went through all the chairs and received the College of Regents Degree. Ginny came to Moosehaven with her husband, Chet on January 17, 1995 where she resided for 14 years. He preceded her in death February 10, 1997. They were blessed with 57 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Andes, of Roseville, CA. Grandchildren, Vicki Canales and Michael Andes. Great Grandchildren, Trent, Trevor, Mya and a brother John Barrow all of California.
