Paul Wayne Dohm, 61, of Middleburg, FL passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010. He was born on June 4, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MI to parents Fred and Thelma Dohm. Mr. Dohm moved to the local area in 1989 from Grand Rapids, MI. Paul’s true passion was, “Riding the Rails” as a train engineer. His career spanned 42 years and he worked for such companies as CSX and Amtrak. He was even the Local Chairman for the BLET, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen. During football season you could always find him in front of the T.V. cheering on his favorite team the Jacksonville Jaguars. In his spare time he enjoyed cross word puzzles, his John Deer tractor and working on his Chevy truck. He is survived by his loving wife, of 5 years, Debra L. Dohm; sons, Steven Dohm (Christina) and Brian Dohm; daughter, Kellie Dohm; brother, David Dohm; sister, Linda Dohm, Nancy Dohm and Cindy Berniger (Ken); grandchildren, Dayton, Bryan, Alana and Emily. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday, March 8, 2010 at Orange Park Methodist Church, 2051 Park Ave, Orange Park, FL with Pastor Mark Becker officiating.
