Mary Magdalena Schwartzenberger

Mary Magdalena Schwartzenberger passed away on March 4, 2010 in Orange Park, FL at the age of 90. She was born to Joseph and Helena Bitz on April 26, 1919 in Bismark, ND. Mary married Joseph Schwartzenberger on April 16, 1941 in Napoleon, North Dakota. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2000. Mary became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in January 1968 when she and her husband, Joseph, joined Jacksonville Beach, FL Lodge # 1558 and Chapter #1381 on January 1, 1968. Mary received her Academy of Friendship on May 3, 1970 and her College of Regents Degree on June 10, 1972. She was a member of the 25 Club and sponsored 26 members in her lifetime. Mary came to Moosehaven on April 4, 2001 where she has resided for almost 9 years. Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Services conducted by Father Joe Frazer and Opportunity Chapter. She is survived by her five children John Schwartzenberger of Ypsilanti, MI, Patricia Zangara of Chelsea, MI, Kenneth Schwartzenberger of Seal Beach, CA, Gregory Schwartzenberger of Neptune Beach, FL and Joseph Schwartzenberger of Chelsea, MI. .
