Terri Glynn Garland, 53, of Orange Park, FL passed away Monday, March 8, 2010. He was born on April 30, 1956 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Dudley and Mary Garland, Sr. Mr. Garland began his career at the UPS warehouse in Jacksonville, FL in 1974, when he was still a senior in high school. Terri had only recently retired in 2009 due to health complications. He was also involved as UPS union member. Mr. Garland was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Clay Community Church on Blanding Blvd. He was also drummer for the church praise band and a long time member of the Taylor Made band. Terri will always be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his only son, Tyler Garland; brother, Dudley Gordon Garland, Jr.; sisters, Jackie Hoch (Andy), Sandy Johns (B.L.) and Bonnie Pineda (Johnny) and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Clay Community Church, 801 Blanding Blvd. with Pastor David Thomasson officiating. The family will receive friends beginning Friday at 11:00 am until service time. Interment at Jacksonville Memory Gardens will follow.
