Ruby M. Reid

Ruby M. Reid, 90, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010. She was born on March 10, 1920 in Lockhart, AL to parents, William and Ida Johnson. Mrs. Reid and her husband Harry were the former co-owners of Madylen’s Flower Shop in Green Cove Springs for 25 years. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harry E. Reid. Survivors include her son, Charles M. Reid; grandchildren, Charles M. Reid, Jr., Christopher E. Reid and Caren A. Reid and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Brendan and Erin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, March 19, 2010 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home with a service beginning at 7:30 pm.
