Gary Bahr

Gary Bahr, age 44 , of Middleburg, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010. He was born in Edison, New Jersey and grew up in Rogers, Arkansas. He graduated with honors in 1985 from Devry University, where he studied electronics. After college, Gary worked with Nielson Ratings in California for 6 years. In 1992, he started his own business (Protronics ), which he owned and operated until 2002. He was retired at the time of death. He is survived by his wife, Angela Bahr, of Middleburg, FL; his father and mother, Eberhard and Margarete Bahr, of Rogers, Arkansas; a sister, Laurie Kiddy (husband Mike), of Jacksonville, Florida; three uncles: Klaus Bahr (wife Ute), of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida; Helmut Wende (wife Anneliese), of Germany; and, Joe Kish, of Daytona Beach, Florida; an aunt, Ilsa Ruhbaum, of Germany; a niece, Kari Self (husband Brandon), of Rogers, Arkansas; five nephews, Damian Holle, Evan Kiddy, and Dominick, Demetrius and Deven Self; and, fourteen cousins: Eric Bahr, of Phoenix, Arizona; Sonnja Settle (husband Michael), of Manassas, Virginia; Joey Kish, of St. Petersburg, Florida; Pamela Lindenmeyer (husband Victor) and children Mitch, Tori and Steven Lindenmeyer, all of St. Petersburg, Florida; Manfred Schirpenbach (wife Anhild),and two children, of Germany; Uwe Schirpenbach (wife Petra) and son, Max, of Germany; and, Michael Wende and daughter,Julia, of Germany. He is preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Bahr, formerly of Rogers, Arkansas, and an aunt, Karin Kish, formerly of Ormond Beach, Florida and, an uncle, Heinz Wende, formerly of Germany. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 1st at Changed by Grace Community Church, 49 N. Bowlan Street, Jacksonville, FL 32211. Dr. Steve Hereford, Pastor-Teacher, will officiate. The family requests that donations to the church be made in lieu of flowers.
