Robert Earl Gibson

Robert Earl Gibson, 73, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010. He was born on February 14, 1937 in Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Gibson served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and retired as a loan supervisor with the Veterans Administration. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Janiece Gibson. Survivors include his wife, Tonie Gibson; son, Thomas James (Sharon) Gibson; daughters, Mary Alice (Paul) Ware, Lisa Denise Gibson, Janice Mercedes (Rick) Copley; sisters, Nadine Foulkes and Kay (Marshall) Tollen; grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Chad, Sammy, Tommy, Kyle and great-grandchild, Julian . The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
