James Richard Crosby

James Richard Crosby, 57, of Middleburg, FL passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, May 11, 2010. He was born January 19, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL to parents James and Winifred Crosby. Mr. Crosby was a local resident his whole life and a third generation Floridian. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid outdoorsman. James enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Mr. Crosby was also devoted family man, who loved his sons and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and is survived by his sons, Kevin Crosby (Pennie) and Dusty Crosby (Debra); sisters, Peggy Elliott (Fred), Cathy Knight (Roy), Nancy Looney (Herman) and Jill Crosby (Sherry) and grandchildren, Mathew, Aaliya and Lily Crosby. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 14, 2010 at 7:30 pm at Harbor Baptist Church, 1120 Clay Street Highway 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003, with Pastor Samuel Jewell officiating.
