Michael Andrew Florence

Michael Andrew Florence, 52, of Middleburg, FL passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010. He was born on July 7, 1957 in Delaware, Ohio to parents Paul and Laura Florence. Mr. Florence moved to the local area, 7 years ago, from Cincinnati, OH. He was of the Unitarian Universalism faith. Michael was a graduate of Marysville High School and attended Ohio State University. Mr. Florence often talked about his passion for history and his family called him a “History Buff.” Michael was a true wood craftsman, in his spare time he made beautiful clocks and jewelry boxes. He is preceded in death by his late wife Vickie Florence and is survived by both of his parents; fiancée, Melanie Harn; daughter, Danielle Hakola; sister, Barbara Akers (Scott) and granddaughter, Maggie Hakola.
