Sally Ellen Ratliff

Sally Ellen Ratliff, 78, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010. She was born on November 10, 1931 in Henry Clay, KY to parents, James and Molly Hamilton. Mrs. Ratliff was a homemaker and had lived in the local area for the past 25 years. She was a member of Melrose Old Regular Baptist Church. Mrs. Ratliff was preceded in death by her parents; by 2 brothers, James Howard and Ben T. Hamilton and granddaughter, Janet Lee Little. She is survived by her husband, Elster Ratliff; daughter, Caroline Meadows; son, Donald Franklin Ratliff; granddaughters, Glenda Potter and Valerie Tackett; grandson, Jeremy Hunter; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tommy, Albert and Charlie Hamilton; 2 half-brothers, Bobby Ray and Franklin D. Hamilton; 4 half-sisters, Patty June Davis, Vada Jean Pickles, Reba Gaye Savage and Della Faye Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church and continue until service time in the church at 11:00 am Monday, June 28, 2010 with Elders Albert Hamilton, Terry Fuller, Doug McCarty and Willis Bartley officiating.
