Inez Prevatt

Inez Prevatt, 95, of Green Cove Springs, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 25, 2010. She was born on July 5, 1914 in Snead, FL to parents, William and Ola King. Mrs. Prevatt was a beautician and a member of First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs. She was formerly involved in the WMU and was active with the Council on Aging. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Mrs. Prevatt was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Albert V. Prevatt; son, Donald Prevatt; 12 brothers and sisters; granddaughter, Denise Bewley and great-grandson, Wes Loner. She is survived by her step-daughter, Eleanor (Jim) Loner; grandchildren, Steve (Sandra) Loner, Joy Loner, Robyn (Mike) McInerney and Bob Bewley; 7 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; special niece, Susan Hatch as well as niece, Mattie Lee Joyner and several cousins. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, June 28, 2010 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs with Pastor Sam Castaño officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs, 615 Walnut St., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
