David Earl Christian

David Earl Christian, 70, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010. He was born on July 11, 1939 in Peekskill, NY to parents Homer and Fannie Christian, Sr. Mr. Christian honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He moved to the local area in 1996 from California after retiring, from IBM as a Computer Programmer. David was known as a private man who mostly kept to himself. In his spare time he loved to read and listen to the radio, especially Rush Limbaugh and Neil Boortz. He was also known to be a sports nut who loved football and baseball. Mr. Christian is survived by his sister-in-law, Marlene (Bart) Christian and niece, Pennie Mays. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Penney Farms Cemetery, Penney Farms, FL with Pastor Joe Barrie officiating.
