Eric Christopher Hughlett

Eric Christopher Hughlett died Friday, July 9th, 2010 at home with his family at his side. Eric retired with 20 years of service in the United States Navy as a Supply Corps Officer. Following his service, he worked as an IT and logistics consultant. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Pam; his son, Benjamin; his daughter, Amanda; his sister, Phyllis Charles; four brothers, Peter, Stephen, Gregory, and Brian Hughlett; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws; and his two dogs, Zoe and Milo; all whom he loved very much. Eric was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and greatly enjoyed his participation with the men’s CRHP group. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island with Fr. Donal Sullivan and Fr. Rene Robert Concelebrating. The family will receive friends in the church from 10:00 am until 10:45 am. Full military honors will be conferred at the service. Inurnment will take place in the Sacred Heart Columbarium at a later date.
