Sheri Sunderland

Sheri Sunderland, 60, passed away July 18, 2010 after a brief battle with Cancer. She was born on July 5, 1950 in Salt Lake City, UT to parents, Ernest and Nancy Panjada. Sheri moved to Fleming Island, FL from her hometown of Salt Lake City, UT in 2003 and although she was only a Florida resident for a short time, she loved living near the beach and feeling the sun on her face. Her favorite Sunday would be sitting by the pool reading an entire book. Sheri loved to spend afternoons shopping, talking with friends or “running quick errands” with her daughter that turned into “well, since we’re out”, gone for hours, play time, just to be in the company of her best friend. Sheri loved her grandchildren more than words can express. Every year she would use her sewing talent and make them the most beautiful Halloween costumes, leaving no details out. Sheri worked in the Banking industry for over 23 years. During her career she excelled in Management and was often a mentor to others. Sheri’s memory will live on through her son, Sean Sunderland (Boston, MA); daughter, Erica Raderstorf and Erica’s husband Dave (Fleming Island, FL) her precious grandchildren, Taylor and Benjamin Raderstorf; sisters, Nina Davidson, Christy Zimmer (Jay); brother, Ernest Panjada (Terry); mother, Nancy Panjada and her many close friends and co-workers. Sheri was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Panjada. The family would like to extend their personal thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses from Community Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
