Blanche T. Deen

Blanche T. Deen, 77, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010. She was born on February 4, 1933 in Milan, GA to parents, Hayward and Olivia Taylor. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs. She loved to embroider and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, David Deen and her sons, Joey Bryant and Bennie Joe Bryant. Survivors include her sons, Gary (Lynn) Bryant, Danny (Sharon) Bryant, Roger Bryant and David (Cindy) Deen; daughters, Wanda (Rodney) Karl and Shirley (Bruce) Hendricks; brother, Warren Bobby (Becky) Taylor; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; caregiver’s Leon Hendricks and her best friend, Barbara Hendricks. Blanche was “God Nana” to five of their grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 23, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Gray Gables, Callahan, FL with Brother Bill Ryals officiating.
