Berlin Hilton, 91, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, July 19, 2010. He was born to parents Clark and Matilda Hilton on March 4, 1919 in Hurley, Virginia. He was a believer in Jesus Christ and was of the Holiness Faith and attended Christian Fellowship Church. He served his country honorably in The United States Army and was a proud Veteran of WWII. Mr. Hilton later worked as a coal miner in the mines of Virginia. He was very proud of the job he and his wife did raising five children. Mr. Hilton was preceded in death by his parents and his son Michael Hilton. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Martha Hilton; children, Lynn (Gregg) Harvey, Deloris Smith, Sue (John) Newman and Doug Hilton; sister, Maxine Hilton; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Paul Salazar officiating. Military honors will be conferred at the service.
