Jack Douglas Williford

Jack Douglas Williford passed away August 17, 2010 in Orange Park, FL at the age of 84. He was born to Earl and Marie Williford on June 11, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. He married Jean Ann Culton on July 23, 1949 and together they had ten children. He married Ms. Marie Jeanne Tremblay on November 27, 1976 in Livonia; MI. Jack retired in 1986 from the Excello Corp, later called Textron, Inc., after 35 years of service as an electrician and supervisor. Jack became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on November 20, 1987 when he joined the Zephyrhills, FL Lodge #2276. Jack served as Prelate, Trustee and Ritual Chairman. He received his Fellowship Degree on May 31, 1993. Jack joined the Moose Cypress, FL Legion #202 on June 19, 1988 and served as Ritual Chairman and served in several appointed offices. He sponsored 16 new members in his lifetime. Jack enjoyed music, dancing, reading, and working on electronic equipment. Jack is survived by his wife, Jeanne Williford, his ten children, Jack (Nance), Don (Judy Mitchell), Peggy (Jim) Willockx, Ron (Diane), Sandra (Yale Downs), Rick (Peggy), Doug, Pat (Leah), Gina (Bob) Becker, Jo (Jim) Shier, and 26 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Powers, Liz (Chuck) Rice, and JoAnne Barsheff, as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brother Earl and parents Earl and Marie Williford. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in the Moosehaven Chapel followed by entombment in the Moosehaven Mausoleum. Services conducted by Rev.
