Leslie “Jerome” Floyd, 45, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in a tragic accident in Kansas City, MO. He was born on August 18, 1965 to parents Leslie and Beulah Floyd in Starke, FL. Jerome touched the lives of many people and will be immensely missed by a host of loving family and sorrowing friends. Papa “J” will always be remembered by his practical jokes, making people laugh and his kind heart and his willingness to always lend a helping hand. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Leslie and Beulah Floyd; brothers, Daniel and Ronald; sister, Diane Knoblauch; sons, Leslie Jerome, Jr., Jonathan and Aerin; daughters, Ashley and Amber; grandsons, Ayden and Ashton and the love of his life of 10 years Janene Floyd. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 30, 2010 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Harry T. Douglas officiating.
