Mr. Richard “Toby” Adams passed away on August 27, 2010 at the age of 80 in Orange Park, FL. He was born to parents Richard and Mary Adams on February 21, 1930 in Flint, MI. Toby served his country honorably in the United States Army and served during the Korean War. Toby married Joanne Daniels on April 22, 1961. They had two daughters Wendy and Sabrina and one son, Tim. He was also a step-dad to Joanne’s son, Larry. Toby worked for General Motors for 15 years. He retired in 1986. Toby became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on July 8, 1961 when he joined Redford Township, MI Lodge #1473. He was also a member of Seminole, FL Moose Legion #81. Toby came to Moosehaven on March 10, 1996 where he resided for 14 years. On February 2, 2002, Toby married, Moosehaven resident, Rose Signorelli in a beautiful ceremony here in the chapel. Rose preceded him in death on October 29, 2008. Memorial Services were held Monday, August 30, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Moosehaven Chapel. Services conducted by Rev. Helen Taylor and Officers of Opportunity Lodge. He is survived by his daughters, Wendy Moreno of Morgantown, WV, and Sabrina Harper of Saline, MI, and sons, Tim Adams of Holiday, FL and Larry Daniels of Ypsilanti, MI.
